Prince Harry says William attacked him during row

The BBC has become the favourite scapegoat for rightwingers who blame them for injecting woke in all their media, especially historic documentaries.

The BBC *used* to be left wing...but now it's in the pocket of the government. They have right wing people on every programme, they don't report the truth. They've really gone downhill.
Thanks for reminding me the BBC used to be left wing. I *knew* I was correct and they used to be left wing!
I look at the Reuters website, they're pretty unbiased.

Hasn't the BBC always been owned by the government?
I've noticed a somewhat similar issue with the CBC. When the Tories are in power it pivots to the right, when the Libs are in power it pivots towards the centre.

The Australian ABC ALWAYS pivots to the left, despite their charter of needing to be unbiased.
You can blame HR for selectively choosing ppl with a left-wing bias, is my best guess.

Well believe me, it definitely, definitely is not left wing or socialist now. The BBC is licking the arses of the government and ministers big time.
Channel 4 is the independent one now. That's the channel the government tried to sell off to private companies recently but we protested so much that they didn't. Fancy that. The government trying to silence an independent TV channel...

We fortunately have one of the best and unbiased government broadcasters in the world in the Australian broadcasting commission. The ABC's journalists have regularly won awards for outstanding journalism.

Not aware this was ever proven?
What?
That the ABC is left-wing biased?
Self-evident to non-left-wing hyperpartisans.
I understand your confusion.

You are simply repeating what you are hearing on Sky News
^ And making it another tiresome dig about hyper-partisanship.
Banging on about left this and left that seems to me to be the very essence of right-wing partisanship.
Not that there's anything wrong per se in adopting either stance, but when a political position itself becomes the popular object of disparaging commentary one has to wonder if the meaning of "partisanship" is understood at all.

Good, well done! Make sure you fight to keep it that way and don't descend into apathy like the Brits.

You are in a position as an editor to also fight. Why not create an independent media site yourself? for that matter why doesn't Alex Plank?

No, I am not.
You are the one following a political narrative, not me.
Michael Roland reeks of hyperpartisanship.
I have smelt that with my own nose.
The interesting thing is, now that his party is in government, he is putting on a better SHOW of being unbiased.
CNN has done the same in some instances.
I.E. Reporters have rediscovered their professional integrity.

Keep in mind, the ppl presenting the awards have a strong left-wing leaning.
But, no, the Australian ABC is far from being unbiased in their political reporting.
I don't have a problem with many on the ABC, btw.
I watch both the left-wing biased ABC and the right-wing biased Sky News network.
Cyberdad has difficulty with the concept that I am an independent centrist who will bag either side of the political divide.
A pox on both houses, btw.
I will never vote for any political party ever again.
The conservative Morrison government was terrible.
The left-wing Albanese government is surprisingly good, but the degree of lack of integrity is kreeping in more and more as time goes by.

Hopefully, this will clarify my position.
