Well the cruelest thing he ever DID was pretty much abandon me and not have anything to do with me my whole life. The only time I ever got to see him was literally one week out of my whole life when I was 11 years old.

Ive also had a step-father who at one point when I was a little kid I thought he actually was my father but when my mom divorced him he abandoned me too.

I was abandoned by my real dad's family, my stepdad's family, and my mom's wasn't much different either.

All I really have is my mom. I feel like most other people in this world don't really want me.

My dad was a great man.

The worst I recall him saying was that he was disappointed in me. That was for something I hadn’t even done, but he thought I did.

Well to be fair:

I'm just pleased you've come to terms with having such ugly feet. I bet they are never cold though.

he didn't, well i mean he fed me and all that to the best of his ability, but i think that was more about responsibility than actual caring.

My father? I don't think he's ever said anything cruel to me.

The cruelest things were said to me by people outside my family.

Nothing.
Never met my real father. My adoptive Dad was my Great Uncle. He was always kind.He never really had time to say any cruel to me.I doubt he ever would, it wasn’t his nature. He died when I was 7.
Foster Dad was also a good person.Admonished me when I did something I shouldn’t have, but was never cruel.A fair and decent human.
Bio-mom was the cruel one when I was a child.

It wasn’t anything he actually said, but, as per the old saying “Actions speak louder than words.”

I can’t prove it, since I’m not a mental health professional, but Dad was a Narcissist. While I’m the eldest of my siblings, I was always the scapegoat, no matter what I did, or what little success I’ve ever had. He’s been dead now for 37 years, but the pain still remains…

I got spanked once... It was understandable.
... I was like 5.
And hit him with a hard and sharpen brush that made him bleed. So he did what he did.

Next most cruelest thing he did was refusing to help me draw. Again, I was 5.
Yet it would've been better had he explained WHY.
It's not like I'm going to judge him if he sucked at it or don't like drawing. Or even just make up the fact he's busy...

Then next most cruelest thing after that?
He went abroad. Never got home once.
Sure he communicates and still provides financial aide.
But I mostly refuse to talk about anything. I got nothing to say, really.
Maybe this is what this screaming little girl in my head wants -- my usual self just thinks it's unnecessary.

And then other than that?
Just cluelessness and ignorance that both of my parents and everyone around me are guilty of.

That was basically all, really.

My father was an alcoholic who often went into a rage and had plenty of cruel words. I don't remember anything particularly cruel directed at me. He would say "I wish I had never had kids" within earshot of his kids though. I was often spanked and my older sister found that to be excessive, she tells me now that we are adults. My great uncle said the cruelest thing directed at me from a family member, "Now I see what the problem is here" which I took to mean my behavior.
