See? If you didn't get healed by Jesus it's because you didn't Christian hard enough.

They always find a way to shift the blame so that if their healing doesn't work it's your fault instead of theirs.

Frankly, there are some politicians who “weaponize” religion in order to suppress and oppress people.

To be honest - any system of moral values has a potential of being weaponised and abused in hands of some populists.
That does not necessarily make the moral values themselves wrong. Hypocrisy is pretty universal.

Blaming the victim is stock-in-trade of the self-righteous. Ask them why there is no verifiable proof of a person's missing limbs or organs being restored through faith and prayer. Ask why a decapitated or dismembered person's family cannot pray the dead person whole again no matter how hard they pray or how strong their faith may be. Ask them why faith and prayers do not correct the altered DNA that causes cancers and hideous deformities in newborn children. Finally, ask them why evangelical "faith healers" get caught time and time again faking their "cures".

Chances are that the victims will be blamed.

This is just as harmful for the religion being weaponized as it is for the groups it is being weaponized against.
