We lost power for several hours - most of which happened at night.

Several of our roads are flooded.

With the weather forecasts in mind, we prepared days in advance with supplies - candles, batteries, flashlights, non-perishable food, as well as reassesing emergency plans.

Basically, old-school thinking, and resourcefulness played bigger-roles than so much of today's modern technologies.

It's been known that people on the Autism spectrum might be more inventive than NTs e.g. "out of the box" thinking. Such well........"life hacks" seemed to fit the bill.

I work outside as a Lot Attendant, pushing carts and loading merchandise.

Today, rain, lightning, thunder and hail.

Someone told me to work inside in Lumber today; I did not say anything about the lightning

Changed clothes

54 degrees Fahrenheit not that cold

And it has rained plenty of times before and nobody involuntarily reclassified my worthless corpse to Lumberjack

Luckily not, I'm in the foothills and haven't had a need to drive anywhere except for a few miles. My driveway's absolutely soaking though and has water constantly pouring out of it from having a high water table and our creek has a strong flow.
