I'll go with my top 5 rated IMDB movies (not a complete list by any stretch). In no particular order:
The Fall
Empire Strikes Back
Maltese Falcon
American History X
OldBoy (the only version of this that exists)

Looking at this list, I guess you could say I have a dark streak running through me (The Fall being about manipulation and the imagination of a young person, Empire Strikes Back being the "dark" side, Maltese Falcon's lead being a morally ambiguous character...the best of noir film, American History X being dark in tone through most of the movie, and OldBoy being about vengeance). I would say that this would be a fair assessment, for the most part (depression being a constant dark companion).

I like a lot of dark horror movies but I also enjoy some fantasy genre and period pieces and The Golden Girls which is a light-hearted sitcom about four sassy older ladies is my all time favorite show.

Some of my all-time fav movies and shows:

The Golden Girls
Mystery Science Theater 3000 & Rifftrax
The Twilight Zone
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
Sleepy Hollow
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
Legend
Night of the Living Dead
Carnival of Souls
House on Haunted Hill
Nosferatu
The Addams Family & Addams Family Values
Clue
Zombie aka Zombi 2
The Beyond
Ju-On
Ju-On 2
Pumpkinhead
Carrie
The Shining
Rosemary's Baby

So... I guess I'm a very dark-minded individual. :skull:
