Chicago Dog House on the northside has many hot dogs named after politicians. I have had them both at the restaurant and from others:

Blagojevich: Chicago style (yellow mustard, sweet green pickle relish, onions, tomatoes, dill pickle spear, sport peppers, and celery salt) with ketchup

Daly: Caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, and dijon mustard

Rahm: Caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, and sweet and spicy mustard

Lightfoot: Vegan chicago style

Trump: Extra burnt, mayo, ketchup

Sleepy Joe: Chili, bacon, and cheese

Howbout 'the George Santos'?

Everything is a fake. The meat sausage is fashioned from tofu, the bun is made from breadfruit, what looks like ketchup is really cherry topping ...

The way Americans have to make every single thing political is insanely ridiculous. Hot dogs weren't even originally an American invention. Neither are hamburgers or apple pie.

That's okay, even politics isn't an American invention.

And Chicago is known for both politics, and for hotdogs. Both local machine politics, and non machine politics. So it kinda fits the local color.

Many restaurants name entrees after celebrities.

Sometimes it can be in poor taste, though. There was one restaurant who named their black and blue burger (which is a patty seasoned with Cajun seasonings and topped with blue cheese crumbles) after Rihanna and Chris Brown.

There was an entree at another restaurant named after Caitlyn Jenner, but I will not elaborate further.

Note that putting ketchup on a hot dog in Chicago is a capital offence.

Putting ketchup on one anywhere should be.

If the first has corned beef then it would be a 'Rubio Reuben'.

Corn dogs? Well...Indianna is part of the Corn Belt so...that would be a "Robert Pense". :)

Given the Pences' religious views, that would be ironic.

[Pro tip: Never buy a hot dog from Ikea]

Ikea's for meatballs.
Costco is where you gotta stop for hotdogs.
