I can't figure the logic of this; do the voters in Georgia congressional districts honestly feel that MTG is the best that Georgia has to offer and we want to be judged by the pick we made? She was even re-elected to Congress last year.

they voted for her because she professed to have the same petty hatreds they did. this is not really fixable without a revamping of our educational system or more likely an evolvement into Citizen v.2.

Calling someone by their initials (MTG), somehow, legitimizes that person in a way.

There has to be SOMEONE more suitable than Marjorie Taylor Greene.

suitability schmutability, they have exactly who they want in there. what's suitability got to do with it when all they want is to use her as a club to beat down their enemies with?

Wait a minute ..? topic was "why send clowns to congress?"So perhaps to show them how silly we think they are ?
Maybe we need to find a Clown "O" Gram service . And start a group paying to send these Clown O Grams to individual congressmen/ Ladies ? .... with a silly sing-song message about their behaviours .or ????. :jester:

Pretty much all politicians are clowns. Barely any politician has skills. The so called democracies encourage this, as they are systems by the clowns, for the clowns.

Selection criteria for politicians are popularity, ability to manipulate people, ability to to scheme against competitors, acting, etc. Being a clown is very popular among the voters.

One way to deal with this problem is to convert the so called democracies into direct democracies with meritocratic selection of politicians. Politicians with the necessary skills have to compete against other politicians with the same skill set. Then they do their legislative things, and ask the voters to accept their proposed law in a referendum.

So it wouldn't be possible to vote for politicians anymore, but only for/against a law. Though I guess it would be necessary to make it possible to fire individual politicians through referendums.

No good people can rise to the top in corrupt political systems. I wouldn't caractirize them as "clowns", rather highly paid corporate shills.

Simple: Considering MTG's district is in the Deep South, all she has to do is have an R next to her name and mention Gawd(TM) the requisite number of times.
