Right now, there is a growing market for dog walkers and for pet care providers of all kinds.

Reason: A lot of people are going back to work after the pandemic. They need people to take care of their pets.

Here are two news stories about dog-walkers in New York City:

- How These Dog Walkers Make Over $100,000 a Year by Alyson Krueger, New York Times, Jan. 22, 2023
- This New Yorker makes over $100,000 a year walking dogs: I earn ‘six figures without a college degree’ by Megan Sauer, CNBC, Wed, Sep 7 2022, Updated Fri, Dec 16 2022

Of course, a novice professional dog-walker should not expect to make anywhere nearly as much money as the experienced ones featured in the above articles.

But, if you ever wanted to get into dog-walking or other pet care, now is the time.
