Even if most of us autistics are not so talented in the dating/relationship world do you agree that society should try and encourage us to pursue romantic relationships instead of holding negative opinions about those with neurological differences?

I know society likes to stereotype us as being computer geeks who are social ret*ds

How did you guess that? A bit of both really I suppose but from what I have researched about quality of life for autistic adults some people try to prevent our participation in romantic relationships.

I will say when I was in college in my late teens my mom and brother really wanted me to have a girlfriend. My dad however always had a negative attitude.

These days both my mom and brother really discourage me pursuing romantic relationships for some reason?
