Hi, my name is Jesse. I came to realize I am autistic a few weeks ago when I met someone else who is autistic. I did not really know anything about autism then. Upon meeting him and learning, I was amazed. So many things in my life suddenly made sense. Why I have trouble communicating with to people, why I am so easily overstimulated and tired, why I cannot stop being so weird. I had thought in many ways my brain was broken. No, it is not broken, it just functions a little different.

I am really interested in meeting other people along the autism spectrum, which has brought me to this forum. Outside of how my mind works, I am an accountant and I live in Florida. Absolutely beautiful place, but as a gay trans guy, a little scary right now. Fortunately I have an amazing husband and community around me.
