Breakout actress Jenna Ortega is the star of Netflix series "Wednesday" is currently the second most-watched English language-based show on Netflix logging 1.02 billion hours viewed since it debuted on November 16.

Filming started in Sept 2021 when actress Ortega was only 18 years old.

On Shepard’s podcast last week, the Wednesday star admitted that she put her “foot down,” verging on being “unprofessional” for the sake of her Addams’ family character. Among her on-screen antics included crying hysterically and uncontrollably on set in from of the rest of the cast.

producer Steven DeKnight described the teen as "toxic and entitled". However the overwhelming success of the series has seen Netflix muzzle DeKnight and invite the volatile teen to be an executive producer on the second series.

Not sure how how many temper tantrum throwing 18 year olds would be asked to take such a leadership role in a multimillion dollar enterprise? SOunds like she's being rewarded because the series has mean't $$ for Netflix.
