Here I am at Mont-Tremblant, likely mere seconds before hitting the tree as I did. 8)

If you're able and willing to reinstall windows from an ISO, you can upgrade to win10 for free. Win7 and win8 codes can be used to activate win10, by design, to help push the migration to win10. I've done it several times. Figured I'd let you know, in case you'd want to.

Interesting to know. Thank you.

You are welcome.

To further elaborate, if you install win10 as a fresh install, and then use your win7, win8, or win 8.1 code to activate it, the MS server automatically updates it as a win10 license, and your code now represents a legal win10 license.

What kinda hardware are you running?

i3 6100, 8GB ram, not sure about the video card; I've had it for ages.

Not bad :wtg: Should handle win10 reasonably well if you choose to do so.

It's not possible to set it up to dual-boot, is it?

It would be "possible", but if you used the same activation code for both, it would cause problems. Given that win7 is no longer even supported, there's not much reason to even keep it around. If you ever had to reinstall win7, you'd never get it to work quite right again.

The issue would be is, once you activate the code for 10, it becomes a 10 code. As soon as you turn the 7 partition on, and it connects to the internet, MS server may see the code on a 7 machine again, and it may flag. If the win7 partition literally never ever actually went online, then there'd be no discrepancy - in theory - but that seems somewhat impractical.

Having said that, if you really wanted to have both 7 and 10 dual boot, without any shenanigans, you could buy a win10 product code for about $20, then have valid licenses for both operating systems. Not a free option, but still a relatively cheap option.

I never been into any sports except for watching cheerleader & dance squad competitions on ESPN when I was in high-school cuz we didn't have internet at home & I had very limited access to porn :( Racing can be OK in video-games but don't love it & I have no interest in watching or participating in real life. The only activities I really liked in PE were walking track(not running, I liked going at my own pace) & lifting weights but I was the weakest one in my class.

I am obsessed by sport. Its probably the main thing in my life after work and family.

Football is my big passion. Season ticket holder for my local (EFL) club for 30 years until I recently gave it up for family reasons. Been to loads of away games too. I am quite obsessed by overseas football and spend time each week looking through European league tables, top divisions and 2nd divisions.

Also big into cricket. Never watched or knew anything about cricket growing up (I was from the wrong class) but was part of the 2005 bandwagon and have loved it ever since. Not much better in sport than a good test match that swings one way and the other then builds to the final hour or two.

Also love athletics.

Was a good footballerer as a youngster. Played for school team and local teams. Won trophies for player of the season etc. Was also a very fast runner and competed for my school against the best in the county.

OHHHHH forgot that I know quite a few Chicago players from when they won.
I've actually touched the cup at a hockey party. Will look for a photo.

Does racing mean nascar auto racing only? Or does it also mean track and field running racing? I'm assuming it just means nascar auto racing. Sometimes I think too much. Which is good in a way, bad in a way. Overthinking can be helpful logical but it can also be hurtful. I have ADHD on top of the Aspergers. ADHD makes it hard to focus, the over thinking might be partially cause of the ADHD or just cause of the Aspergers itself. The brain being overactive, but that better than it being underactive.

Interpret all the headings as broadly as humanly possible.

Racing includes pretty much all motorsports (not just stock cars), but also skiing, running, cycling, etc.

I know what you mean about being prone to overthinking though.

I rode horses until I was 15 or 16. Wasn't massively into it but it's what everyone in my family did so I kind of got caught up in it. I sometimes miss it.
