I do like punk hockey music though like The Hansons and one of my favourite items of clothing was a D.O.A Hockey top which I left on a football pitch once never to be seen again

I'm going to have to watch Slapshot soon.

Do you know the band Nomeansno? I assume The Hansons you mention are the side-project of that band.

Funny you say that, Canadian1911 had a Q/A thread and I asked if he'd seen Slapshot, the answer was NO

I asked my GF if she'd seen it, also NO

I had to educate her so we watched it recently , she enjoyed it.

Yeah, I love Nomeansno and yes that Hansons not the mmmbop ones :lol:

I really find combat sports interesting to watch. It's like chess, but with a greater chance of blood.

I'm sure we've had this conversation before but I did have a knitted jumper (really soft wool , great texture and lovely on the skin)with a CH logo ( it was my current GF's initials ) but I'm pretty sure it was a hockey team - Montreal ? (sorry my brain is mush atm, stressed to f**k).

MMA, boxing, sport karate, catch wrestling, etc.

Fencing is awesome, I'd love to get involved in HEMA (historical european martial arts).

Been watching UFC for years now, I'm a bit behind though, I have 284,285 & 286 to watch when I have time (it's difficult not to see the results before I watch them though)

I'm a HABS fan. My son is an OCD-obsessed diehard Leafs fan to extreme proportions, and one of those people who knows the stats on every sport like Rainman. Leafs have never won the cup in his lifetime so it's an unbearable trauma drama every year when they lose in the conference. My beau is a Canucks fan.

It gets kind of riotous around here in the spring. :skull:
