Idk seems crazy to me for it to have that reputation but maybe I have the nose of a bloodhound as well, at least with alcohol, like I've always thought vodka had a pretty strong smell. though perhaps a sharper smell than things like rum and whiskey but still very noticeable to me at least.

(I'm referring to the cartoon and related attitudes only, not current or former members. My abusive husband called himself Pepe Le Pew sometimes. )

The glorious days when sexual harassment/sexual assault was considered funny and appropriate entertainment for children. These clips are so bad they should probably come with a TW label.

Even as a kid I hated Pepe le Pew. The way the cat reacts to him isn't funny to me at all, as someone who is AFAB. Watching rapey jokes directed at females in cartoons was f****d up.

All types of alcohol do have a pretty distinct smell and if someone doesn’t even try to cover it (like with gum or rinsing their mouth or something) I can still smell vodka on them. Just much less so than other hard alcohols. People can 100% still notice it though and especially if you get drunk.

^^ They certainly bother me now. It irritates me when people complain about this garbage being canceled. Like...what the actual F?!? How could someone watch this stuff and think that it's okay?

It would be interesting to know the true impact it's had on people.

Some people think it's hilarious.

- Blatantly flirt with the waiter/waitress in front of her, and wink at her every time you make the waiter/waitress visibly uncomfortable wince at the fact they cannot have you since you are on a date. Y'know, just to remind her that you can have anyone you want.

- Order for her and only order 1 single lettuce leaf. Women don't need more than that, and she will appreciate that you assume that you understand her needs better than she does.

It's genuinely just flat out not funny and is very low effort. People realizing it's always been a s**t joke isn't a bad thing and anyone too sensitive to accept that can pound sand.

It's mind-boggling how that was ever seen as funny.

It might be even weirder that some people still don't see anything wrong with it.

Call her privileged if she answers questions

Agrees with all the tenets of a religion that constantly demeans women in their services by saying stuff like:

- women are “weaker vessels”

- women are less logical, rational, and intelligent than men

- women need to dress modestly because men have no self control

- women can’t pray aloud around baptized males

- a baptized male child should have authority over adult women

- women can’t have any responsibilities in the church

- women need to be submissive and obey their husbands even if what they say is wrong or stupid

- women have to wear dresses to all church functions and activities

- feminism was/is bad

- all of the awful passages in the Bible, including those featuring misogyny, are from God

- if you don’t like a teaching for whatever reason, there is something morally wrong with you - you are being influenced by Satan.

- show up drunk when a bunch of the young adults meet to hang out. Be touchy-feely with the young women who are present, stare at their bosoms, and talk about your fervent desire to get laid. Make your male cousin feel extremely uncomfortable and compelled to apologize to said females for your sh***y behavior. Fun times.

(My female cousin and I ditched them and went to see Mary Poppins at an old theater. Now THAT was fun. Feed the birds, tuppence a bag...)

- Buy lots of hair elastics and flick them at her

- Hum the AC/DC song "Big Balls", or play it on your earbuds so she associates it with you

- Buy her lots of grey chewing gum and tell her it's symbolic

- Tell her to meet you at the park for lunch, but be late

- Get angry with her if she gets a puppy and tell her that was stupid

- Eat like a 3 year old and refuse to try absolutely f*****g anything new, and b***h when she wants to eat something you don't want to.

- Introduce her to a somewhat competitive game and have her confide in you that she sucks at these and rarely plays them, then tell her after she plays w/ you and your friends that your friends complained about her being new and sucking at the game, thus destroying her confidence. (I totally have no experience with this and I totally didn't cry after it. lol)
