Basically a Doom Box is when you pick up clutter but don't organize it, only get it stored and out of the way.
It also works as an acronym: Didn't Organize, Only Moved

I currently have a Doom Room.... I keep collecting trash beside my desk......

There's a name for that?
I call it my organizational method.

My house is a Doom box

Same, if I occupy a space it becomes a doom patch.

I just call it having a studio apartment.

My dad's parents had a farm, and they had an entire doom valley. My parents were a bit better, they kept it contained within a doom room. Personally, I've got a doom room, but purely because every time I turn around I catch my wife adding to the collection at a rate that exceeds what I have time for. (So, I guess it's maybe her doom room)

I'll likely get it straightened out when I'm down to full time work and only one class at a time.

But, really, this is why I pretty much refuse to hide my stuff in closets and boxes. If I can't see it, then I have no idea what's there and there's little reason to deal with it until after it's already filled all of those spaces and all the boxes that I've got as well.

Describes every single drawer and cupboard on my flat. Can I find a pencil though....

I like this phrasing. We have a doom room (definitely going to start calling it that) but I make us go through and figure it out about once a season because we have a clothes rack in there we use to dry our laundry and it irritates and stresses me out when it becomes inaccessible. Self care and all that.

My entire room is a DOOM box and I don't fix it because I won't remember where anything is.
