About a decade ago, an economist at Harvard took notice that the rate at which Americans entered community colleges was static, despite having more high school graduates than previous decades. I personally feel that my cohort was scammed by higher ed.

A lot of people freak out about needing to find out what to do in life and which university to go to and about a perfect GPA and test scores AT 18 OR YOUNGER. That is a horrible age to try and figure out all of this stuff while also worrying about social stuff and several classes a day and homework every day.

That's why i think community college is such a good option for so many people. There are so many things to just find what you want to do and how you want to do it. And to improve life skills and so on
