People lying about there heights?

I know this one guy who always claim to be “6ft4 and a half” yet one day he stood back to back with one of my friends who is 6ft2 or even just a hair under by a fraction and they were virtually the same height.

Do you think that is unusual that a 6ft2 man would round up to 6ft4 1/2? Because I live in England were on average people are much more honest about there height if there already over 6feet.

I can't make out that second sentence.

I can't understand why someone who is over 6 foot tall in the first place would bother to lie about a couple more inches. It's not as if he was 5 foot 6 and wanted to impress someone by adding a bit of height.

Does the guy who is 6 foot 2 have a couple of inches worth of hair on top.
