Autism related depression vs Sexual dysfunction
The most popular way today to treat depression is to use antidepressants. Antidepressants generally have a popular side effect known as sexual dysfunction, which hurts our ability to get laid or perform sexual activities, and so on. Can you explain if it was worth dealing with, as in, be free from depression for the cost of having to deal with sexual side effects, or the other way around, as in, stopping taking an antidepressant so you can enjoy sex again? It also seems to be unclear whether the side effect go away always after stopping, or not, but it can persist long after stopping an antidepressant. The question that remains is what was the best decision to make in regards to all this and what conclusion did you reach.
I took Trintellix with no sexual side effects except that it made me want to vomit 24/7 the entire time I was on it.
I suppose that matters but it didn't affect me in the other ways.
Remeron is a big no for me and my most recent partner. Neither of us responded well to it in that way.
I've never tried the others.
Zoloft killed all parts of me, like a zombie feeling.
