Rafael Nadal won the Rogers Cup tournament in Montreal.

Roger Federer is performing well in Cincinnati at the Western and Southern Open. A number of young Russian players are doing well and Spain, even without Rafa, is well represented.

Our x-mas dinner was perfect! The pork roast was 100% perfect The best I've had in who knows how many years. The potatoes were tasty, as were the sauce and the sauerkraut and the wine. :chef:

I have also taken advantage of the current e-shop sale for the Switch, and gotten myself some nice cheap games to enjoy. Merry Switchmas indeed!

It's a miracle! The UAE has made peace with Israel, Bahrein and Saudi Arabia have said they will follow soon and perhaps Morocco. Maybe my grandchildren will be able to live a peaceful region and not need to fight. When countries no longer are willing to support terrorism perhaps we will solve all conflicts in a fair way for all involved. An end to war.
Amen.

My little 7 year old grandson has been diagnosed with ASD and is finally getting the help he needs at a Rudolf Steiner school on a kibbutz with his own personal aide. On the first day of school the 1st years played Stone, Scissors, Paper, and my sweety beat all the other kids of his year. When finally victorious, they all shouted out his name, cheering. He is the most wonderful child in the world and now he will be nurtured at school as well as home. Such good news. The school is closed now due to Corona though.
I hope the understanding of autism that I gain here will help him to feel confident and safe in this difficult and often harsh world.

I love being around my brothers dog all the time. She follows me and sleeps with me, it's really cute.

I love my parrot plushy very much. It's so soft and fluffy! Really nice to fall asleep with at night.

I've been watching too many rave livestreams to post just one. Maybe I'll start a thread for that.
