34 ... I guess it's a good thing I have an appointment with MHMR on Tuesday... although I must admit I'm somewhat uneasy about the thought of being analyzed by a psychologist who's on gov't payroll instead of a private psychologist specializing in autism... for a number of reasons, but I think the biggest reason is because I've been aware of so many horror stories about people historically being abused by the psychiatric industry for reasons of politics or greed or whatever... So in the back of my mind there's that nagging thought that *if* the psychologist misinterpreted something I said I could be stamped with the "dangerous to the public label" and spend who knows how long in an institution with (of course) no appeal because of the assumption that anything I would say in my defense is inadmissible because it's an attempt to avoid being institutionalized. Am I totally rambling? Does that make any sense? I'd like to think the likelihood of this happening today is pretty slim - I hope so - but I honestly don't know what the industry's landscape is like today, how political it is, how forgiving it is, etc.

I suspect that's kind of an unfortunate necessity.

Not really, it asks many things a professional would ask you if you were seeking a diagnosis of Asperger's. Asperger's is social retardation primarily: "severe and sustained impairment in social interaction" and "...the development of restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior".

Questions that pertain to both are in the aforementioned test.

I got a 32... was a little unsure on a few of them... those quizzes with varying degrees of agreeing and disagreeing are a little confusing sometimes lol.

Shock and awe........Oh no, it can't be! Tragic. Someone get the tissues. Fainting couch?

I scored a 41, said about 35 is HFA or AS. I think a few of the questions i could have went eather way with, and figure I may have a 5 margin of error, so I definatly fit into that catelgory. Good test matchine!
