I didn't mean that toward you or anyone in the thread.

I understand bad relationships as much as the next person.

It's all just very ... depressing.

I guess it depends who they survey.

Maybe they asked a bunch of people who've never tried owning a house alone.

It can seem rather glorious until you actually try it, and get the bills.

Same with relationships: Maybe they asked people who've had bad ones.

The question imo boils down to: Would you rather be lonely or take a risk?

That's a hard question depending on our prior experiences.

I proposed to my beau on Tuesday.

It's been a helluva week.

The Telegraph is a sh|tty sensationalist tabloid of a paper, I wouldn't take the slightest notice of what it says because everything it publishes is designed to stir people up and push the right wing agenda.

The mortgage is paid off on the house I live in. If I had a mansion I'd have a garden for cut flowers in the back yard. Instead, I grow roses for cut flowers in the front yard! Less lawn to mow!

In Canada they know they'll never afford a house, but husbands come along even without money.
