I don't think Jupiter has to worry about Earth humans colonizing him, he's mostly a big swirling ball of gas, and humans haven't even been able to colonize the Earth's moon. :)

Yes. Even if we did reach there in great numbers...we would colonize Jupiter's moons, and not the planet itself.

Jupiter doesnt even have a solid surface to stand on.

Yes, guys, I was joking about Jupiter thinking humans were going to colonise him! Hence the laughing emoji.

Just looked up Holst "the Planets".

Yeah, basically.

Mercury is "the winged messenger"

Venus, in his piece is "the bringer of peace" not quite what I said (though Venus is associated with love).

The rest is as I said (BTW his ode to Mars "the bringer of war" was practically cloned by John Williams for the "Star Wars" sound track".

Uranus is "the Magician".

And Neptune is "the Mystic".

And this was before they discovered Pluto. So Pluto isnt mentioned.

Pluto is the joyful dog.

Lol!

Pluto was discovered in the 1920s.

And...as a matter of fact... Disney named his newly created cartoon dog after the planet.
