Finally found a job...

After 11 months of painstaking search and filling out applications, I now have a job...I'm going to be a ticket usher at college football games. Yaaaay. 8 hours every saturday starting September 1. The bad part is i'll need to find another job that's 12-17 hours/week on weekday evenings before I can move out (maybe less depending on how much it pays above minimum wage).

Congratulations! That is a start. :) I hope this job is maybe the path to finding another part-time job in the week. All the best, and I really admire your persistence!

I got mine through a temp agency. You could try one of those.

Do you even like football?

8 hrs every Saturday, you must do something other than just tickets.

any idea what other responsibilities you will inherit with the job?
