I never got that at all,in my opinion looking at a persons face is the same as looking at someones eyes.

i never even look at the persons face or body at all, i look behind them or whatever i decide to look at. sometimes if they have an abnormality in their face i will have the tendancy to stare but i was told many times not to so i remind myself not to.

I do the looking through the person to the back of their head thing and glazing my eyes over so my vision is blurry. I'm sure they can't see my blurry vision.

I do this too--I cross my eyes a little so their eyes become blurry to me. And I sometimes look at their nose or eyebrows. The more nervous I am, the farther away I look from their eyes, so sometimes I can only look at their hair or chin, or not at their face at all.

Myself, I tend to look people between the eyebrows, just above them.
