Physical therapy
PT -
After my first stroke I had a year of PT three days a week to regain my balance and the use of my left hand. I had been walking with a walker and progressed to using a cane. I don't use the cane anymore but I still had it at the end of PT. I also did a type of PT called Vestibular Rehabilitation to help with the double vision from my eye being lopsided.
Acupuncture -
I've had quite a lot of it over the years. My Osteopath is a PhD and administers it at the end of Osteo sessions. I've been going to him about ten years, on and off. I highly recommend Osteo if you have access to it.
Chiro -
I've never done a manual adjustment but I've gone to a woman who uses a little hand-held thing like a clicker that supposedly makes adjustments. I don't really feel anything and I don't have to worry about her sneezing and accidentally making me a quadriplegic. I'm undecided if it helps or not but I think it does a little. She's good at knowing where I'm sore without me telling her. She just looks at my posture on a special table and she's always right about what hurts.
