After a seriously look back at my 34 years of life on this planet, I can't really help but wonder a bit how I got here and how can I fully move forward

Diagnoses:
Bi polar
Schizophrenia
Depression
Anxiety
Brain injury
Complex trauma
Autism
Borderline personality disorder
Munchausen syndrome
OCD
Drug addiction

The more I seek answers, the more I seem to lose my grasp on all of it.

My life has been far from typical, at least compared to those who grew up in similar situations.

Early head injury, gaming addict at 3 years, savant in certain areas, struggling to socialize or handle simple tasks, extreme depression and weight gain preteen, bullied into dropping out of highschool, goty GED with no education or studying, mastered certain games, wandered to 6 other countries, never had bad intentions but left relationships with plenty of destruction in my wake.

I want professional help but I don't seem to be heard by most people when I actually seek help.

Welcome to Wrong Planet.

Many of us on this site feel like we are living on the Wrong Planet. And in a way we are. Humans are a very advances species because we contain multiple brains inside us. Some are daytime brains and some grow to become our night time brains. But for some of us we die. We experience death at an early age. We wake up and stand next to our dead bodies and try to figure out what just happened. It is our night time brain that normally resides in REM and Deep NREM sleep that has walked into the daytime world.

So you are right, you had a near death experience. Many of the problems you have in life are related to this original experience. You try and fit into the daytime world but it is very different then the night time world of your dreams. Life can be very challenging to us, the people of the night.

I hope you find a good path forward, too.

If you are looking for useful comments from the folk here, though, you might want to tell us what country you are in. I think things vary a bit from one country to the next.

If you aren't looking for useful comments from the folk here, just emotional support, never mind.

I love the title of your post! Acknowledging struggles is a great first step to finding answers and "work arounds". Did those diagnoses come in that order? I wonder how many of those diagnoses you got before you learned about autism? So many of us get diagnosed with other "things" usually we are told we have "atypical" diagnoses because we don't respond to treatment for those things. Well, wait just a minute... could it be because our diagnosis is not correct? Many people have found that learning about their processing struggles around autism explain a lot of the problems they are having in life and that some of those "atypical" diagnoses are best discarded. There is so much to sort to figure out which diagnoses are the ones that need the most support and how to go about working out the best way to go forward, but we ( science and mankind) have learned so much about biochemical and neurological struggles recently that there are many alternatives available to us and much hope for a healthier /better future going forward. Hope you have a good medical/ therapist team or that you find one. Sorry for so many stuggles, it is a huge load to carry, I know. This forum is a good place to get support, information, empathy, input and suggestions because so many of us have struggles too. cheering you on, hope you find what you need.
