Got to wonder if it is intentional .....when something is rotten in some situation.. it seems to be the issue to sweep it under the Carpet ....Personally , I would LIKE to know his reasoning..only blind sheep might not care to know the full story, I would think ! Not Like Trump already has had the medua eating out of his hand on a daily basis ..
And would a thinking person , already suspect a conspirascy ? And more so ,with media reaction, to sweep it under the carpet????.

The gunman in July's assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump gained access to the roof he fired from by getting atop an air-conditioning unit, a source briefed on the investigation into the shooting told NBC News on Tuesday.

The source said video recorded from a nearby ice cream shop shows the shooter using an air-conditioning unit to climb onto the rooftop of a building to get into position about 450 feet from where Trump was starting his speech.

NBC News has not reviewed the video, and it is not clear if it will be made public.

nvestigators have been working to determine how the gunman was able to get on top of the roof without being detected. They discovered that Thomas Crooks of nearby Bethel, Penn., purchased a ladder ahead of the incident, but ruled out that one was used to gain access to the roof.

Multiple witnesses say they saw Crooks on the roof moments before the shots rang out, and a local police officer climbed up, saw him with a gun and radioed a warning. But that warning never made it to the Secret Service agents protecting Trump, the agency’s director testified, and around 40 seconds later the shots were fired.

Investigators have said they believe Crooks used a gun with a collapsable barrel that allowed him to move through the crowd with the weapon undetected.

The building was outside a security perimeter established by the Secret Service, but it provided a clear shot at the former president. It houses a plastics and glass company.

The local civilians all yelled that "there is a guy with a GUN at that roof" to the local cops. The word shoulda reached the secret service. And they should not have allowed Trump to ascend to the stage in the first place. "Sir, we have a visual on a possible gunman, you hafta stand down for now". Indeed they shoulda just cancelled the event because "sir, we just neutralized that suspected gunman, but he might have accomplices...".

The man who attempted to assassinate Donald Trump last month had searched for information on both the Republican National Convention and the Democratic National Convention before ultimately opening fire on the former president's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, FBI officials told reporters Wednesday, suggesting that the Trump event was a "target of opportunity."

FBI officials also said they had found no indication or evidence that any co-conspirators worked with 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who attempted to kill Trump just days before he accepted the 2024 Republican nomination at the RNC.

"I want to be clear: We have not seen any indication to suggest Crooks was directed by a foreign entity to conduct the attack," FBI Assistant Director Bobby Wells told reporters.

Another official, Kevin Rojek, the FBI special agent in charge of the bureau’s Pittsburgh field office, said that, in addition to searching for information on both conventions, the shooter also searched for details of campaign events held by both Trump and President Joe Biden, who was still the presumptive Democratic nominee when Trump was shot.

Crooks engaged in a “sustained, detailed effort to plan an attack" and "looked at any number of events and targets" before ultimately "hyperfocusing" on the Trump rally after it was announced in early July. The Trump rally appears to have been a “target of opportunity,” Rojek said.

Rojek said that investigators found a "mixture of ideologies" in the content the FBI recovered from Crooks' accounts. "I would say that we see no definitive ideology associated with our subject, either left-leaning or right-leaning," he said. "It's really been a mixture and something we're still attempting to analyze and draw conclusions on."

The shooter’s family had been “extremely cooperative” with the investigation, Rojek added.

The FBI said its victim impact interview with Trump was "productive" and noted that it had provided the former president with an "in-depth briefing" on the investigation.

"We're grateful to the former president for his cooperation and his time," Rojek said
