How would i go about returning to a previous school.
I am at the end of year 10 entering year 11 in education, I had issues during the last academic year as i had previously had issues with a SENCO that has since left the school and has issues with about 2-3 pupils with one accusing me of saying and threatening to commit very serious crimes without any basis and causing me to persistently be absent from school due to the strain placed on my mental health. I was moved to an alternative school typically for those kicked out due to behavour issues and despite me getting along with some these people are the wrong crowd for me and will likely lead me towards the wrong path in life. I specifically stated i wont accept being placed in a school that i cant sit higher papers in and they have completely ignored this with the place they have sent me. I wish to return for september to the old school and as part wish to have meetings where i will report the students responsible and co-operate with any legal enquiry that may result. I am still technically in the old school as they are paying for me to attend the new place so would it be as straight forward as contacting them and asking or do i need to do go through other steps. My worry is that due to the nature of how i was made to leave they would do anything in power to prevent me. I am 15 i have communicated with my mum this and she was seemingly against it. I have opened up about the factor of the lies made against me but she didnt really take it seriously and i dont think she realises the true extent it had on me. It is unlikely another school would accept me due to it being my last year of school. How do i go about my wish to return. I am in england.

I think you could just contact the school, since you're still officially a pupil there.
Is there a teacher there or another member of staff who knows you and who you'd feel comfortable talking to? They may be able to advocate for you with the school and/or your parents if necessary. Having a teacher on your side can make all the difference.
In any case if there is a good reason you wouldn't be able to return, or other hoops you'd need to jump through, the school will be able to tell you.
The only thing I can think is that they might be reluctant to move you as you're in the middle of your GCSE years.
Even so, it can't hurt to ask.
