Does it bother you if you go to the toilet and another man has left the seat and lid up

Do you leave the seat and lid up yourself

Or are you just not arsed

I'm only asking because of something that was said to me today by a man and it was made apparent that it peeves him when a guy uses the bog and leaves the seat up and I just thought it was hilarious but he was really serious so I was wondering if this is a thing with other men

I don't care how the toilet seat is left.

I'm generally favourable to the idea of leaving the seat down if it's bathroom that's used by more people who need to sit to pee than not, but I can't conceive of needing to change the seat position being enough of a problem to actually care.

The only time I've ever found myself caring was when my friend's mom was dating a guy who kept telling her daughters to leave the seat up in their home, while he was a guest. People who needed to sit were the majority several times over and it wasn't even his f*****g home.

There are rarely ever other men in my house so it doesn't come up, really. Also the toilet seat won't stay up anyway, it falls back down which sort of solves the problem. Not that I consider it a problem, I couldn't really care less but I know some people do get upset about it.

At public toilets I prefer if the seat and lid is left up by the previous user. If not I lift it up with my foot/shoe so I don't have to touch it with my hand. If there is a woman outside waiting for her turn I put the seat down by using my foot/shoe. At my home I usually put the seat down before I flush the toilet.

Depends on the location.

At home, oftentimes I leave it up as I mostly pee during the day with the exception of the daily BM.

At work, I always lift the seat up before and make sure it is down after I pee because I work with mostly ladies and one coworker nearly fell in the toilet bowl because of me not putting the seat down once, so I never forget to, especially in the employee toilet.

In public, I try to use the urinal if peeing as I do not prefer to use the toilets as they can be messy and more smelly than the urinals, but if necessary, I do lift the seat out of courtesy of not getting pee on the seat for the next person.

I work around the seat as much as I can, it doesn't really bother me. I use the least fingers necessary to move the seat and will get disgusted if I touch a bodily fluid

No.  Because I am an adult and have learned to look where I am about to sit.

No.  I close both before the flush.

Are you asking if I care?  If so, then my answer to the first question is appropriate.

Honestly, I just don't get what the fuss is all about with the seat/lid position, when the REAL bother concerns those people who leave the lid up and never flush.
