Do people here get apartments & their landlords mind that the people stay home all day? I'm worried about that. I know you don't have to talk to them about your disable alot, but how much info can you say? Do you need a job to get an apartment? My sister is helping me get an apartment, but her credit is really bad, can I use my credit? Do you need credit to pay bills?

You need to demonstrate that you have a consistent source of income, usually with tax returns or letters from your employer. Being on SSI shouldn't matter because it's guaranteed income. They'll want to know your credit score and they'll likely want the name of your last landlord to make sure you paid on time.

I thought you already got a place in Morro Bay?

The landlord will not care if you stay home all day. They probably wouldn't even know, since the landlord usually does not live near the rental apartment.

I spend the entire day at home many times and my landlord never complained.
