I hear time and again about people of my generation or older Gen Zs getting married and having kids later on than other generations did but I do know of some in my family and in my step mum's family who married and had kids before 30. A cousin of mine got married at 22 when I was in sixth form and have been married ever since and haven't had kids. My step mums oldest son has 3 kids but he and his partner are not married and her daughter got married at 23 and had kids in her mid 20s and early 30s and still with her husband after I think 14 years now.

I don't know what it is but when I've been around them I seem to feel knowing that I'm still single, unmarried and have no kids, it makes me feel like I'm "less of an adult" than they are because they've been or still going through those stages of life and through my early to late 20s and into my 30s, I've never been in a long term relationship although one person didn't want one with me and the other I wasn't keen on a relationship with her and instead stayed friends. I seems to me as though to not experience that during those stages of life is a "waste" of the one life we all have.

I assume having kids would accelerate maturity.
Looks like I don't have to ever pretend adulthood.

Because they all prepared for it and took proactive steps to reach that point

I am now just FINALLY getting close to marriage...
