Anyone in Hampshire, uk, willing to meet up sometime?
I know there are a few here, but not sure they are the meeting kind...

Alternatively, anyone able and willing to come down my end of the Uk occasionally to meet and talk?

I'd be up for it, not quite yet. I used to live in Fareham for a year. I wouldn't go there again but old portsmouth and southsea is quite nice. I've been to Southampton once. Maybe one of those historic villages/towns in central Hampshire would be a good place for a meet. Or how about the New Forest?

New Forest...or Winchester...Winchester is a nice place, usually fairly quiet with the cathedral, old palace ruins and some nice gardens.

Yes, have kept meaning to go back there since I went with my mother. I have no excuses, given I live so closeby.
I would preliminarily suggest maybe mid September sometime. No idea really. See if anyone else is able to get there first.

Waiting to see how many 'Aye's we have so far...
Not sure who is willing and able and who is not.
I would suggest sometime in the next 3 weeks... whichever weekend suits everyone else best.

Yes.

Either date is fine for me. But youll probably get a better turnout if you choose 21st as some people dont check the boards very often.

I'd love to make the 21st but I an very busy and my white van has packed up as well as my car :(

If I possibly can I will but please don't be too upset with me if I just can't.

Hi,

Just been directed to this from the other thread.

I can probably make this as long as it is in the day & not the evening.

I am only about an hour's drive from Winchester.
