There is a strange critter near the bottom of our driveway. We would spot it from a distance and normally it would run away. It was bigger then a cat. Since we live in the countryside, we would come across all varieties of critters, many are very interesting creatures. So this time my wife took a photograph from a distance and we began to explore. It was a Groundhog.

The Antechinus.
I wish I'd had my camera handy for the one living in our ceiling.
We saw her climbing over a verandah joist with her back end pointing straight at us and it looked like she had 10 tails, so the babies were more than double this size.
These creatures have the world's most elastic vagina (with nipples so I guess it's more of a pouch) and cart the kids around in it.
The males actually mate themselves to death.

Back to marmots again.

How about a Numbat ?
This critter has no teeth, but has a tongue half its body length.

Don't spice them up too much, you don't want to overwhelm their delicate flavour profile.
