What kind of tips (cash) and bribes have you received or given, and for what?

What kind of jobs have you done that involve getting tips(cash)?

I've had people buy me drinks as a bartender.
I've never had a tip (apart from the clean underwear - bus thing) Australians pay our staff and tips are only for good service. New Yorkers please note... We do not consider a sneer good service.
I got a digital camera from Dell for a purchasing decision.
I've held a few million dollar decision making positions but was never offered a bribe for them.
I may have considered it for commercial positions, but for my government jobs?...Hell no! I actually like the jobs. (Just as well... The money was crap, but I think all of us would do the job for free if we were allowed to.)

I've never worked for tips and wouldn't want to. (Though I would if I had no choice.) I've worked alongside people who were working for tips and I found it unpleasant. It engendered a kind of mercenary and slightly sleazy attitude toward the job and the customers.

I've never been offered a bribe nor been in a position where I could confer someone an advantage, so there would be no reason to bribe me.
