Um... Pulverized Diamonds in the air might be good for Climate Change...but would it be good for ME?!

It sounds suspiciously like expensive air pollution.

Hmmmm...

So we got into this mess by burning wood, coal, and oil, all of which are made of...carbon!

And we are going to solve it by filling the air with pulverized diamonds...which are made of...carbon.

As soon as we we fill the planet's atmosphere with these little floating diamonds...some one will send aircraft with flamethrowers to fly around setting them all on fire...turning the floating diamonds into black soot...putting us back to square one!

A couple thoughts on the idea:

If they mean $200 trillion worth of industrial diamond (at cost) good luck either financing that or keeping it ^^.

The other part - there was a bit of panic over the aerosol tests over the US Southwest when they were just making a small cloud of particulate to monitor very local results. My guess - whatever they'd want to add to the atmosphere they'd want an equally feasible way of removing it if we hit mini ice age conditions or have something similar happened where the solution becomes a problem.

Yeah, but...we might get another WP topic out of it! Perhaps a variant of this.
