Hi! This is to G.H(to be placed on stake soon!) and Scoots!
1)...The Question?
2)...Statements by Ghosthunter!
15minutes earlier, but was delayed at Milwake station.
It is a small station and a uneventful trip to get here.
look at and no toyota matchbox variance need apply
3)...Statements by Scoots!
I arrived at the greyhound station at 8:30pm in the event of an early arrival. The bus showed up 15 minutes late and stopped right in front of where I was parked. I could spot GH right away as he got off the bus with that hat that he wears (the same one in the photo thread).
Impressions: GH is full of energy. He was looking forward to meeting me. He speaks what he thinks. We have discussed quite a bit already. The greyhound station in town is also a truck stop/gas station. Also the parking lot is the turn around for all the cruisers in town. Since I have only one full day to spend w/ him I need to make the most of it.
I'm footing his hotel bill - $160 for a room in a place right next to greyhound stop so when he leaves on saturday he don't have to walk several miles like he did in Indiana in the even that I can't be here to see him off.
He also feels really bad about the AS/HFA/PDD-NOS faux pas he made here. He explained things clearly to me about the situation and I can assure all of you that he didn't mean to be judgmental or prejudice in anyway. I think the best thing would be for all of us to get past this

Good morning! How much does that weigh?
It is probly 1 ton? Not 2 tons though! I am also impressed
by his height. He is 6.6" not 6" or less. He is sturdily built and
much strength in physical form.
He communicates and makes eye contact when he is familiar
with you if it online or perhaps a non-online familiarity.
He is the
"Gentle Giant" that his pictures don't do justice for!
Sincerely,
Ghosthunter

What?! 6'6" ? Ghosthunter, if you're like me(I'm 5'8"), it's a pain in the butt trying to find pants that go below the ankle. Anyway, I forgive in the mist of any misunderstanding that occured. You must understand that I've had people go so far as say the reason I was depressed was due to not being close enough to God and being under "Satan's" influence(One of the reasons I'm no longer a Christian).
If it even looks like someone's blaming me for my illness, that pain and feeling I have to justify myself automatically comes back. I know you were only trying to help. I think you're real sweet and love reading your posts.
By the way, do you get hot in that hat in the summertime?

I am glad you are forgiving of my wording deficits, thankyou.
The hat keeps my slightly bald head from sunburning and is stylish!
if I may add!
Sincerely,

sorry- the correct answer is "ham"
In my usual random style I posted a quote drom Penny Arcade, in this case one from Twisp and Catsby. you can find the strip here at http://www.penny-arcade.com/view.php?date=2004-03-24&res=l
God I love Twisp and Catsby. they're like the Homsar of Penny Arcade.
I and Scoots drove around and we checked out the only
comics store in Manitowoc. I figured if I antiqued shop
I would find 10-cent covers(Dell publications for $5 or less
with Warner Bros. characters.
We went to the group of 3 antique stores on 8th st & near
the Manitowoc River. I found 2 Archies for $1(25-cent covers).
We later went to the Wisconsin Maritime Museum along 8th and
the River area. $12 covered a submarine tour and exhibit.
They had 1890's engines(1 cylanders) and 1920's engines
(2 cylinders), upto 1950 800 hp engine of the same manufactorer.
They also had a gross documentary on family fishing issues.
GROOOOOSSSSSS~ seeing fish gutted and caviar retrieved
from white-fish. Not a a pleasant life for them smelling like
fish all day.
One of the exhibits had handwritten logs and wallets and different
era cash and change. 1940's.......30 pounds per hour, 300 pounds
day, averaged $2.50 a hour in 1945 (+/-)
The model ships excellent and alot destroyed after 50 years.
They had full size actual ships and boats.
The USS Cobia was their prized sub. BOYYYY WAS IT BIG!
But it looked small on the outside. It had may sub-chambers
that housed men and parts. Did you know you they slept with
the torpedo's???? Well, it's true.
There a guy there in the group who was 80+ in age who remembers
this stuff. He offered insight, and wisdom that only one who was there
could offer. He even impressed the tourguide!
I asked alot of questions and Scoots was losing copiing skills,
but he great job holding up in a clausterphobic space.
We later went to the last antique store and I found 3 10-cent cover
comics for less than $5 each(DElls).
Otherwise there isn't much to do in this industrial city setting, INCLUDING WIFI'NG!
aND by the way, Scoots graduate in 2006, 2 years JC, 2 years state/univerisity
just incase you folks mistaken that it was his 1st year!
No wifi! Bah-hum-bug, just some dumb terminal in the hotel.
sincerely,
Ghosthunter

Another bus on time - I may yet have to revise my opinion of greyhound!
So Far, so good! I will be catching the 5pm to Clevelandn on Saturday to visit
Prometheus! I should get there by say 5pm Sunday.
How it going with you?
sincerely,
Ghosthunter
Hi, Promtheus,
Thanks for finding a wifi spot. I am amazed
how spoiled we are in California. One doesn't
think twice on Wifi'ing. But in this area including
Minesota, and Wyoming regions, that is a bird of
a different feather!
I will be pleased to see you, and hopefully the
bus is in good behaviour.
Sincerely,
Ghosthunter
