What do you mean by friend, and what are you really looking for? I've only really chatted with perhaps 10 people, and only physically met ONE. I went over 100 miles out of my way to meet for a couple hours(That is NOT an exageration!), thinking I would meet a few. I probably should have known better.

I am HORRIBLE with social things. That is one reason why I latched onto the idea of my having AS with so much gusto. HEY, it is part of the diagnosis! I just don't react in the same way, or consider the same things important. Combine that with unusual reactions/understanding, and I guess I can understand some of the problems.

So HEY, don't feel left out. EVEN after saying things like that ALEX once publically asked me if I hated everyone, or something like that. And some others said that also. So you certainly can't feel like you are the only one!

um im 17 male a senior in highschool no friends my family dosent understand me and im extreamly deppresed

Sounds like me when I was 17, only I wasn't clinically depressed back then... my situation was simply depressed, and I dealt with it (by skipping school and that, lol).
