Anyone else worried about the autism registry?

I don't like that at all, so yeah I was wondering what the rest of you on here feel about that. I mean the stupid RFK thing that might give away medical records and s**t, but idk just with how they are detaining college students just for speaking out against the genocide Israel is committing, I am worried they will find some way to start harming disabled people. Like I dont want to be on a list of being a less usefull citizen or something and like idk its scary what they are doing to migrants without criminal records and college students who have expressed opposition to Israels genocide.

Like are we sure they cant start targeting groups like autistic people, that is what I am worried that registry is for, and well I am on disability for autism and PTSD so I would for sure be on the list.

We can't stop this from happening if he is actually doing it. It's totally illegal, of course, but that seems to be a point of pride with this administration. None of us signed away our HIPAA rights to non-medical people like RFK Jr but that doesn't matter anymore.

Kraichgauer, I totally concur with your resolve. Yet given their access to a lot of information sources, how will you protect her privacy and disable attempts to "enlist" her?

I would feel exactly as you if I was a parent in the USA. I can only read and watch what is happening from afar; this vile scheme very deeply upsets me and I feel sad for the terrible stress it must be causing.

I hope you will succeed in your commendable aim to protect your daughter.

I mentioned on another post, most autistic people are already on a registry

If you claim disability welfare or carer support you`ll be on a gov registry as to the reasons why.

Social security people can search your name quite easily using your social security number or do mass searches using key words like ASD.

All this is accessible to the cops, letter agencies etc.. the mass data (not individual data ) is also public knowledge and can be accessed by anyone interested, i.e how many autistic people in Texas claiming etc..

I wouldn't be worried, if they wanted to find autistic people they could find about 70% quite easily right now.

Also why would they put autistic people in camps, for what purpose?, they would have to feed and look after everyone that would cost a fortune, its far easier to pass that on to others.

Privacy is dead anyway the debate happened after 911. Did you know the Brits spy and listen to your phone calls and read you emails & web searches at their GCHQ base and the US listen to British people`s calls. They then swap notes, its how they get round the law on not spying on their own people.

The irony, a large % of autistic people are unable to work.

They are already killing autistic people quite efficiently anyway via a variety of ways, like dumping people after they leave school so they sit at home all day and slowly lose skills and rot until their parents die then they get moved into a home where they will probably get abused and humiliated by low wage unmotivated staff and drugged up so they stay quite.

They also feed people mental health drugs that don't do your internal organs any good. I know someone who takes antipsychotic drugs that make him fat and give him heart complications. There`s other long terms side effects on a variety of other licensed drugs for autistic people.

All the while they tell us we should celebrate our neurodiversity and everything is fine, then suppress simple and cheap alternative therapies that have shown potential effectiveness, with little follow-up, if they wanted to get rid of us from their perspective things are going well as planned, why pay for an enormous camp, staff with the worldwide shame and outrage, when you have plausible deniability.
