What's Ffestiniog if you don't mind me asking
Have you been to Porthmadog? Is where three narrow gauge railways (The Ffestiniog Railway being one of them) and one standard gauge railway meet. (Standard gauge is the Cambrian Railway line which is part of the UK's railway network).
So four different railways meet in the same town. The three narrow gauges actually have track joining each other so they can (In theory) share trains, though the width of the Ffestiniog locomotives and coaches are restricted so only certain locos and stock from the other railways can fit on their line, though the Ffestiniog Railway engines and stock can run on the other two if desired. It is a lovely place to visit as it also has a harbour, lovely scenic views and nearby interesting areas such as Portmaerion, Harlech Castle, Criccieth Castle and various lovely beaches and scenic views.
