Met up with this couple I am friends with recently for her birthday

She's 22 and said to me "You look really smart" and also when I put brill cream in my hair "You look slick"

Judging by her comments do you think she might find me somewhat attractive?

She's part of a couple Jamesy. She was just being nice. That doesn't mean she was lying but don't read too much into it either.

Take the compliment, let it boost your self-esteem and then take that newfound confidence elsewhere.

Aside: I regularly call my dog 'Slick', in a sort of "Hey, what do you think you're doing, slick?" way.

Is she already in a relationship? I can’t fully tell from your post about her. But honestly it sounds like she’s just being friendly.

Somehow you've missed the link between complimenting you AND THE FACT SHE HAS A LOAD OF CUTE FRIENDS!

She has as much as said. "If you're game for it I'll set you up with one of my friends... No..not Laura...I'm not sure you'd come out the other side, Hayley likes you, but no doubt you'd prefer Jill because of the red hair."
