I am looking for an autism related text written by a composer on the autistic spectrum to which I set a choral or solo piece. Please try to keep text devoid of excessive allusions and please do not post songs written by a rock band that you think describes autism as the lyrics of many rock bands are jejune and sponsered by the same corporations that work to create the idea of normality (I cite "Simple Plan" as an example). Note: This is not a condemnation of all rock bands as there are many well crafted songs by able musicians. I also recognize that there are many songs that don't say anything, in which case I would rather use "Weia weia walala weiga", which, as my signature indicates, I won't translate because it doesn't mean anything. Besides, I want this to be original. I will give all posts consideration up to September 20, 2007.
