Seriously it was scary. I was lying in bed awake but very tired and than all of a sudden my eyes shut and I felt this weird feeling in my stomach it then went up to my chest. All of a sudden for about a minute I couldn't open my eyes, talk or move and I felt two hands pushing me down.
I than got up and looked out the window and felt scared until i fell asleep.

Isn't that called "old-hag syndrome", or "old geezer syndrome" for women?

It is a natural phenomenon, but scary when you don't know that. Aggravating when you do.

Yeah, I've had sleep paralysis before. It's not fun.

More precisely: hypnogogic state.

I hate that!

It's common enough to have made it into mythology...called incubus/sucubus.Some people claim it explains alien abduction but I dont know......I'm a believer.

I have experienced this too regularly throughout my life- I have also heard it called sleep paralysis and heard stories re alien abductions.
I just take it in my stride and try to keep it in perspective
