Mine comes from the t.v series written by Stephen King.

RoseRed is a haunted mansion, that 'eats' people.

I love Stories about haunted buildings.

One of my friends from high school and I got into a half joking/half serious fight over a video game with the 7-up character Spot in it. It resulted in her throwing the controller at my head. It became one of those bonding jokes between friends things. Even though I don't talk to her anymore, it's still one of the names I use on forums.

17 is my ex husband's favorite number. He used to steal (or try to) any sign with the number 17 on it. I think it was something he picked up in high school with his friends. Over the years, it became the number I used for everything too.

Max is my name. But somehow my friends started calling me Maxx, actually sounding out the second x. I dunno how that got started though. It was so long ago.

I don't know if any of you have heard of Thee Temple of Psychick Youth, but ar the time I'd discovered them - reading Douglas Rushkoff's Cyberia - I'd been using the nick Coyote in some form for a very long time and appending the 27 to it for about a year previously to keep from being confused with other people. It was, uhhh, quite a shock to me, since about that time was when I'd first started to get interested in that sort of thing... so anyway I decided that it'd probably be best to keep the nick.

I'd picked Coyote partly because it's a reference to the Trickster, this was back in 1998ish or so when I was just getting into the whole "omg I can play computer games with other people over the internet" stage and needed a handle. The 27 is sort of a lucky number I guess.

'Nuff said. I like Doctor Who, and the Quatermass serials preceded and inspired Doctor Who.

Asha - a dun coloured fat welsh cob mare who contrived to carry me up to the jump in an unusually energetic gallop before deciding to stop extremely suddenly resulting in me being thrown over her head. That was the first time I jumped :D . It didn't put me off!

She die 3 years late from laminitis and exhaustion from bearing two stillborn foals. She was the first horse I rode and the first living thing I consciously felt affection for.

Also, it sound similar to my real name.

Noa is the Hebrew name which I've chosen to use when I finally finish my conversion. (I've done some of the study, but I need to find an online conversion rabbi since I moved to a town without a local synagogue.) I like to think of Noa as my idealized self, sort of a kernel of the person I could someday become, carried around in the ark of my body.
