The article doesn't even seem to mention how he "accidentally" killed the other kid.
Either way, it's something that happened in Saudi Arabian borders, so I don't think we have justification to tell them what their laws should and shouldn't be.

Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world that forbids women from driving. Women in Saudi Arabia live in a web of mores, rules and fatawa defining and limiting the extent to which they can move.
They are not allowed to leave the country without the written permission of a male relative. They are not allowed to go out in public without being accompanied by a mahram - a male relative to whom marriage would not be permitted (e.g. brother or uncle).

Their religious police locked a bunch of school girls in a burning school because they were not dressed properly.... Needless to say, they all died... for a dress code.

Women who are raped in SA are FUBAR. The only basis for a rape conviction is a confession or the evidence of four witnesses. The nature of rape is such that it is unlikely to take place in front of four witnesses. A further disincentive for a woman to make a complaint of rape is the existence of the crime of qadhf — making slanderous accusations — which is punishable by lashes. Any woman who is raped and is married is also prosecuted for adultery.

A despicable nation.... They should be next.. right after Iran when we finish with Iraq.
