I was very, very popular from pre-school through second grade. And I just regained my popularity status senior year (last year, but I'm still completing it this semester).

I had it written on my school report, "Most popular boy in the class".
I think it was because I was allways mucking around and was quite quick with word play when I was a kid so would allways be making the other children laugh.

Never got picked for football though.

My first friends ever were the chess team in HS. . .

Me and 14 guys.

I've had actual popularity at some other times and places. . . don't know what I think of it, though.

it's sort of uncomfortable.

Not exactly popular, but people know my name... and that I'm just an honest, friendly casual person... this gets me friends.

At all the places where I've come to be appreciate and "liked"... I'm kind of a composite of many different lovable loser archetypes... that people can relate to.

I also have no qualms about making fun of and finding fault in establishment... once I'm comfortable at least. You can make quite a few friends and be popular this way, especially when what I am saying is generally true and not just trying to find acceptance among my peers. I just find ridiculousness and make comments as I see em...

Popular? Me? That's a laugh XD I'm apparantly quite popular online in my circles, but in person? Nah, too shy to be popular. I'd probably find some way to isolate myself if I did get popular.

I was popular in high school because lot of people and even kids in middle school knew who I was. But I was still an outcast. I seemed to be popular in Spanish class though because the freshman kids liked talking to me.

I've never been popular. At best I had a small group of friends, and people thought I was okay. At worst, I have no friends (basically since 10th grade).

Stoners accepted me in High school, we were all outcasts smoking cigarettes in the smoking area. Can't do that anymore though. I generally find one stoner friend to hang with every once in a while. I can't help it, I like the music and the vibe. I'm usually the designated driver for concerts, unless I get thrown out.

Peace, love and coconuts!

I was popular until circa 2004, at least. Apperently there is something charming about a lazy, bad tempered, constantly depressed, constantly cursing, know-it-all, who makes snyde remarks while being beaten up.

On a side note, regarding being beaten up: In earlier years I gave as good as I took. In later years I didn't even raise my fists. As I said: I was popular. People didn't take too kindly on attempts to beat me up.

Yeah, I'm popular with animals too. I've had multiple dogs walk up to me and want to spend time with me, I've had quite a few squirrels run up to me and babble at me for a while, etc.

I'm usually popular at the beginning, then become an outcast.
