I've always been into some forms of transportation. I find modern high-tech stuff more interesting, but sometimes stuff in history is also fascinating.
I used to live near Wellington in New Zealand, and it had everything, including the Cook Strait Ferry terminal, an electrified commuter line, trolley buses, and the cable car.
I've gotten lost on Wikipedia looking up the history of the systems, such as the ferries. I remember going on Arahura multiple times back in the late 80's/early 90's and it is still running today as the workhorse of the fleet.
