when i was a child, i was on a bus and smelled a person with B.O that was almost identical to bacon. i have since discredited bacon as an article included in my gastronomic desires.

^ I've had a similar experience. When I shared a flat with someone, he was not very hygienic and his bedroom had a very strong bad smell that resembled the smell of a certain type of salami. That really put me off that particular kind of salami.

i can not imagine how you could tolerate it for even 1 minute. i demanded to be let off the bus immediately that i became aware of it.

it is akin to olfactory assault. how dare they trespass into my nostrils with their noxious fumes of rancidity.

I've often wondered, if pork is "the other white meat" then why is so much of it pink?

I have a mean streak for bacon and cooked three rashers this morning. Add two eggs and some chestnut mushrooms.

Yes I do not have this everyday  and don't promote it either really. A good tip is to grill everything. Except the eggs of course.

I used to like making "Fuddruckers" styled burgers with a pound of ground round mixed with crumbled well-done bacon, one whole egg, 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese, 1/4 up of parmesan, 1/4 cup of old-fashioned tomato and onion barbeque sauce, 1/2 cup of fried onions minced, a bit of garlic, some minced fried green pepper, 1/4 packet of veggie soup mix, the whole shebang well-mushed and mixed together but good, slow-fried. it was like eating a meatloaf between two buns :chef:
