jade empire (pc release), bioshock, half-life orange box set, that rings 3 game all the kids are yammering about.... :P

Kingdom Hearts 2 is a $20 greatest hits title already. Metal Slug Anthology is worth a buy if you have a Wii, 6 great shooter games in one. Dragon Quest 8 is good, but still expensive I think. Then there's mainstream stuff like Halo 3 or Gears of War if you're into that and have a 360.

GCUBU-Metroid Prime and MP2, Resident Evil 4, Smash Bros, Mario Kart
XBOX- Halo and Halo2, Jade Empire or Star Wars KOTOR, Ninja Gaiden, Soul Calibur II
WII- Zelda(duh), Metroid again

That's all I can think of right now.

Forza racing and star wars KOTOR great games infact i say the star wars game is in my top 5 i wish they would bring out a new one for the 360,

You need a PC for my fave.
Old but still one of the best, Blitzkrieg.
Open source a nicely modded version of Burning Horizon or Rolling Thunder is the bomb RTS.

Guildwars if you're looking for a good MMORPG that doesn't require you to pay monthly fees to play. All you have to do is buy the software and online play is free.

i can only reccomend PC games, but the HITMAN series are a pretty good shot.
and wolfenstein - enemy territory is a pretty good free online game.

Wii games you must buy:

Metroid Prime 3
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Super Mario Galaxy
SSX Blur (if you like snowboarding games)
Guitar Hero III (if you like rhythm games, this actually has a guitar controller).
