Some of my favorite signatures are the ones that lau puts up every now and then,
I saved a whole bunch in a note pad file I call lau's laws:

* Dow's Law: In a hierarchical organization, the higher the level, the greater the confusion.
* Drakenberg's Discovery: If you can't seem to find your glasses, it's probably because you don't have them on.
* Drew's Law of Highway Biology: The first bug to hit a clean windshield lands directly in front of your eyes.
* drug, n: A substance that, injected into a rat, produces a scientific paper.

No, the ending "as" in Latin, as in several other languages, indicates the second person. It means "I think, therefore I am. You do not think, therefore you are not." I often feel this way surrounded by certain people, so it appeals to my elitist sense of humor.
