Well, actually, it isn't me who needs the telephone yellow pages of cities all over the U.S. My friend Don has a project of obtaining as many yellow pages as possible. He has been writing to Chamber of Commerces and asking how much it would cost to have their yellow pages sent to him, but lately he has not been getting good responses. If any of you would be willing to mail your city's yellow pages to him, he would pay for the packaging and postage. I'm thinking, um, of a neutral address such as our local ARC.
Once a week I pick up Don and bring him to my house and we wander about WP. He says that when he is agitated, reading the yellow pages calms him down. Huh. That's what I use tubs of buttons for. Anyway, he's a nice guy and some of you are nice guys who would enjoy helping a fellow with autism and a big project.
I'm picking him up tomorrow and under my name he will be explaining his project.

Sounds cool!
I can do that.

I like to keep phone books of places I've been that I really like and hope to go back to someday.
I don't have a lot of them. New York/Manhattan is the largest city I have books for :D

I live in a rural community inline with several other small communities. Our yellow pages are contained in the general phone book.

I find hotel/motels to be a great source for phone books :P

Does he have any for the Provo/Salt lake areas in Utah yet? I'd be willing to provide.

WOW!! !! ! Thank you thank you.
As for strange.... do we pick our obsessions or do our obsessions pick us? Mine is buttons and books. And chocolate. His is telephone books.
By the way, I'll be doing a stopover in England this Christmas and this time I'll see more than the inside of the airport. I'll see the inside of a hotel room for some horizontal sleep before continuing onto Rwanda.

Well, once again I have put the book out on my table with the intention of mailing it out tomorrow or Tuesday.
I have classes for half the day tomorrow, so maybe I can get to town and to the post office.
If not, I have Tuesday off until I work that evening.
One way or another, I'll get the book out of here! :D
